In this particular piece, one may notice the intricate intermixing of colors and paint texture that produces a strong sense of vibrancy. Further, Pakan captures the essence of speed by exaggerating the horses’ lean and blending various colors into clouds of dust. “Magic Horse” became the first print that Pakan ever produced, giving it a special place in the history of his artistic legacy.
