Bellevue Blue Print

While Pakan’s collectors and followers are more accustomed to seeing his paintings born from his global travels, sometimes beauty is literally out one’s backdoor.  Pakan spotted this beautiful blue jay perched high in the trees outside the back of his home.  Pakan captures the gentle late-winter breeze rustling the leaves in the tree, causing the bird to puff its brilliant plumage while preparing to feast on the tantalizing berry.  The morning sun illuminates an array of color hiding in the tree branches, contrasting the starkness of winter’s cold. Color and beauty are everywhere, if we only take a moment to notice.
